Privacy Policy

This policy explains how HappySwag ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal data when you visit happyswag.co or contact us. We are the data controller. If you have a privacy question, email hi@happyswag.co.

What we collect

• Enquiry details. When you request a quote or email us, we receive the information you provide, such as your name, work email, company, quantity, budget range and message.
• Analytics data. With your consent, Google Analytics 4 sets cookies and collects anonymous usage data (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser) so we can understand how the site is used. No analytics cookies are set until you accept.
• Technical data. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes basic request data, such as IP address, to deliver and secure the site.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before entering a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to you.
• To measure and improve the site. Lawful basis: your consent (which you can withdraw at any time).
• To keep the site secure and available. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in protecting the service.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. We use a small number of trusted processors who act on our instructions: Google (Analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting and security). Email you send us is handled by our email provider. Each processes data under its own terms and appropriate safeguards for any transfers outside the UK.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting relationship, then delete it. Analytics data is retained for a limited period in Google Analytics and is not used to identify you.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, object to processing, or request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any right, email hi@happyswag.co. You can also withdraw analytics consent at any time using the cookie controls. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
